A large stone in a protective style setting called a bezel. Encapsulated by silver this simple style is elegant, and maximalist at the same time, showing off the bright pink of this gem stone.

Sapphire is extremely hard wearing, not completely resistant to scratching or damage but a personal favourite, for its saturated colour, and suitable for everyday wear. This supersized stone has been heat treated to bring out the brilliance in its colour, which often has flashes of lilac and the tiniest hint of blue.
